SDRI-MWD Tool
SDRI-MWD Tool is a surveying instrument for monitoring in real time and indicating to accomplish well trajectory control operations in directional and horizontal wells. It is composed of the downhole system and the surface system.
1. The downhole system consists of the main components below: transmitter assembly, actuator power controller, batteries and directional detector. Its functions are to accomplish trajectory control operation and to transmit downhole data such as hole inclination, azimuth, tool face, vibration, temperature etc..
2. The surface system consists of the following main components: pressure sensors, surface interface box, rig floor display and orientation software. Its functions are to accomplish acquisition, processing, identification and display of mud pulse signals.
Features:
※ Positive mud pulse transmission.
※ Highly reliable and cost effective to maintain.
※ Easy to operate and assemble.
※ Quartz accelerometers with high precision.

SDRI-GAMMA Tool
SDRI-GAMMA Tool is mainly used to the natural gamma radiation from the formation since the natural gamma radiation varies in different formations. Therefore, gamma ray measurement can be applied to qualitatively identify and differentiate formation lithology. Gamma ray data can be presented in API units and be directly compared with wireline logging results. The gamma detector is a scintillation counter/photomultiplier tube. Special shock and vibration dampeners are installed in the detector to ensure its reliable performance. It mainly consists of gamma probe, gamma battery and surface depth-time unit.

Features:
※ Modular design for easy maintenance.
※ Capable to provide data logged both in real time and memory.
※ Able to precisely differentiate sand-shale boundary.
※ Gamma ray curve can meet the demand of casing-running and coring depth selections.

SDRI-RES Tool
SDRI-RES Tool is used to measure the true resistivity of the formation. The measurements can be directly compared with wireline logging results. Due to the features of measurement while drilling operations, the drilling fluid invades the formation slightly which can basically be neglected. SDRI-RES Tool mainly consist of downhole resistivity measurement sub, resistivity battery and couplings.
Features:
※ This tool has the feature of greater investigation depth and has the geosteering function. It is employed to detect oil reservoir boundary in the horizontal section.
※ Low power consumption and modular design for easy maintenance.
※ Drilling fluid conductibility has a little effect on resistivity and the tool can be used in water-based, oil-based or salt water drilling fluid.
※ Lower working frequency without dielectric effect.
